Adobe Photoshop is basically a software program that is used by a lot of people to edit and enhance digital photos. With this particular software, you will be able to touch up the photos you take and give it that professional look and feel. Photos that don’t stand up to the test of time can also be edited in Adobe Photoshop. Old faded, yellowed, torn photos with water damage can still be repaired with Adobe Photoshop. All you need is a scanner which will create a digital copy of the old photograph. The faded picture can be repaired as well as other damages, such as water damage, and tears. With Adobe Photoshop, you will be able to turn old, faded, and damaged photos in to something that looks as if it was taken and developed moments ago.
There are also times where you will need to take headshots. What headshot means is that you will need to take close up pictures of someone from the neck up. Now, you can be sure that someone will complain that they look too old in the photos or that they look too pale. Some will even say that they hate their headshots because of a zit or pimple in their face. With Adobe Photoshop, you will be able to solve all these problems.
You can edit all these photos. You can make wrinkles disappear, make the face look thinner or fuller, make the zit disappear, and even add a healthy color to a pale looking face. In fact, you can even make someone look as if they just went to the beach for a tan.

The Wonderful Colors of Feng Shui
Colors affect people in different ways. By using the right colors, you can strengthen the elements of Feng Shui. These wonderful colors are divided into cool which is Yin and warm which is Yang. There must a balance at all times because everything possesses these two components. Aside from Yin colors being cool, it also represents healing and relaxation. To give you an idea, here are the colors.
• Blue has yin energy because it reflects love. It also creates a feeling of peace and trust. Since it is the color of both the sea and sky, Feng Shui experts associate it with adventure and exploration. Among the different shades of blue, navy blue is the color that best describes intellect and wisdom.
• Black symbolizes money and income. It is great for those who are focusing on their careers especially when this color is combined with metal. In Feng Shui, it is the color of emotional protection and power.
• Next is purple that lies at the end of the spectrum. In Feng Shui, it is associated with spiritual awareness as it is excellent for physical and mental healing.
• White represents confidence, poise and purity. Feng Shui experts use this color in combination with gold and silver as it generates a calm atmosphere.
• You also have green which is represents balancing, normalizing, nurturing and refreshing. It is the color of balance, harmony, healing and health in the emotional, physical and spiritual aspect of things. Yang colors tend to be fire and wood elements. It is these colors that provide you with positive energy or enthusiasm and here are the colors.
• Yellow represents cheerfulness and friendliness. However, too much exposure to this color can be bad because it often leads to anxiety.
• Orange helps you strengthen your concentration especially in times when your creativity runs dry.
• Tan or being represents the colors of the earth. It portrays neatness and helps conceal emotion.
• Lavender is the color of sexual indecision. Feng Shui experts believe this color suggests an ability to be manipulated.
• Maroon is one of the shades of red. In Feng Shui, this represents indecisiveness.
There are other colors aside from those mentioned that represent Yin and Yang in Feng Shui. If you want to know more about it, do some research as this is written in books and also posted online. As mentioned, these colors should be used in different combinations with other Feng Shui elements in order to balance the Chi. These elements are namely earth, water, fire, wind and metal. Each of the colors above represents one of these elements and by making sure there is balance, you will be able to bring prosperity wherever you need it like in your home or for your business. For instance, if you want balance in the bathroom, you shouldn’t add the color black as there is enough water already there. Doing so will cause an imbalance and surely you wouldn’t want that to happen. The wonderful colors of Feng Shui can be used to your advantage depending on the energy you need. For you to achieve prosperity, you have to bring them into your home or office not only in the colors of the wall but also the furniture and décor as well.

Man Versus Machine Tapestry
Centuries ago, tapestries were done by hand. It sometimes took years to finish and the final product is something to behold. Unfortunately, they don’t make tapestries like they used to so which is better, tapestries made by man or machine?
Of course there are pros and cons with both techniques. If this was done by hand, it will take time to produce one and it will be very challenging to make an exact copy. The factors which affect the production process include amount of detail and the fineness or coarseness of the sett.
The sett is the vertical threads through which colored yarns are interwoven. The sett for most tapestries uses about 4 to 8 threads which is an improvement from the past as this sometimes takes more than 20 threads.
What a craftsman does by hand in days can be done by a machine in a matter of hours. This means that you can produce the same design in mass quantities. The only downside is that it is not able yet to produce the amount of color detail, variation and gradation that a genuinely hand made tapestry can achieve.
Does this affect the price of a tapestry? It could but you have to remember that how it is made is just one of the factors because there are other things that people have to take into consideration. Such issues involve who made the tapestry, the cost of the materials, the cost of labor and the reputation of the maker.
If the tapestry company has been doing this for years and have had a lot of orders from customers around the world, naturally the price of their products will go up compared to a startup company who is trying to establish a foothold in the business.
The truth about tapestries is that there are only a few people who still do this the traditional way. This means you might have a hard time finding someone who does this by hand when the market is swamped with companies who use computers and machines to produce various designs.
But does this eliminate creativity? Of course not because technology is simply a tool that makes it easier for craftsmen to come up with a design and iron out all the mistakes before production gets started. This makes things more efficient and all the products look just like the ones that came before it.
So which is better man made or machine made tapestry? That will be up to you to decide because some people don’t mind having a tapestry made by a machine as long as it looks good. But if you want to argue quality, then it is hands down for one that is man made. You just have to wait a few weeks or even months before you can pick it up and then display it unlike those that are machine made which can delivered to you in less time.
But who knows? There may come a time when someone is able to fix improve the quality of the tapestries made just like how this is done by hand. We have been able to accomplish a lot thanks to new technology so there is nothing that stop this from actually happening. When that day comes, machine has truly replaced man’s ability to do just about anything including making tapestries.
